**General Liability Waivers and other forms are below for your viewing. They must be signed if you are a new volunteer. Once you sign up, your electronic signature is available for the forms.
**Must wear covered shoes, no leather or fur out of respect for the animals. Since we are working outside, masks are not required, but social distancing is still observed. We provide blue surgical booties to wear over your shoes so that you don't bring any contagions from your shoes and also don't take any home to your animals. Please respect the animals by not wearing a fellow animal to the sanctuary. This is a vegan sanctuary.

Why Volunteer at Cloven Heart?

Volunteering with any organization that helps others is very important because these organizations always need help. You feel good about yourself when you help others. Volunteering for a nonprofit that helps animals is always fun because you never know what's going to happen. The animals are amazing and adorable. You get to experience how fun a farm animal is and start to realize they have personalities and are just like puppies who love to play. You can learn a lot about animal care and how to be around an animal safely. But, most importantly, the work you do has immediate gratification. Your hard work, when you volunteer, helps you see something that needed attention and is now clean and orderly or made better for an animal by the time you leave. That is a very good feeling.

If you would like to become a regular volunteer, either weekly or twice monthly, then fill this form out for our records.
What if I want to volunteer for more than two days monthly?
*We ask that all new volunteers sign up for an Open Volunteer Day first.
We really want to build a group of regular, reliable, kind, animal lovers who want to be regular weekly or monthly volunteers. The rescues here really deserve to have more people who come to care for them and spend time with them regularly. For them, it's like making a friend that you really love seeing. If you like volunteering at Cloven Heart, you will be able to schedule yourself moving forward. All volunteers must be willing to show up reliably, two days monthly minimum, because the animals depend on you. Many of which will look forward to seeing you come back.
We are so thankful for your interest in volunteering at Cloven Heart Farm Sanctuary on a regular basis. You will not only help the animals have a safe, clean, and loving environment, but your presence will allow the founders to have more time to devote to fundraising and creating community programs.
*Don't forget to have the liability forms printed, read, and signed.
