As a mother and daughter team, we are responsible for all the work around the sanctuary. Would we like to have funding for two animal care staff? Yes! Yes, we would. And we hope to one day have all the help we need.

- fundraising - develop, create, promote
- social media posts/ creating reels and videos
- administrative: answering emails, helping people find homes for their animals, paying bills, setting up vet appointments,etc
- Managing, building, updating our website
- professional education on fundraising, humane education, attending networking workshops
- direct feed and care and cleaning of all the rescues
- cleaning all water troughs, stalls, yards
- taking animals to the vet, vet transport
- daily management and care of dogs, reptiles, small animals in our care
- running errands, picking up supplies, feed, hay
- grounds keeping and maintenance
- fixing all things broken
- building new structures and improving quality of life for residents
- washing all dishes used by animals during feeding
- doing wellness checks for injuries or illness
- providing medical care, supplementation, medication to residents as needed
- hoof care, trims, epsom soaks as needed
- monitoring safety and interpersonal conflicts of residents
- grooming residents
- offering affection and attention as requested by residents
- perform internal and external parasite management as needed
- making accommodations for weather elements such as rain, heat, or cold
- maintenance of tools that keep resident warm or cool like fans and heaters
- purchase of broken tools like hoses and feed bowls for residents
- predator safety and removal, like snakes
- plan and develop strategic plans to improve funding and community engagement
- attend meetings with other sanctuaries for best practices and support guidance
- internal meetings on tasks and goals and planning for the sanctuary
- create and promote volunteer experiences to get more help
- design, upload, and promote merchandise to sell
- plan, budget, pay bills, figure out how to pay bills
- take pictures of all the animals
- communicate with animal sponsors monthly or as needed
- Contact local business and try to build corporate sponsorship program to increase funding
