Cloven Heart Farm Sanctuary is facing a financial crisis. Our veterinary care funds are at an all time low. The lives of the animals at Cloven Heart are at risk.
Basic veterinary care is important and we don't have the funds to cover them. Raising $20,000 will save their lives when sickness and emergencies happen. Help us say yes to saving their lives instead of having no choice because we don't have the money. This is why we need your help now more than ever.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I wouldn’t be writing to you if this weren’t an emergency for us at Cloven Heart.
I know that you care about Cloven Heart and all the rescued animals that call this sanctuary home. We have always been so thankful for your support of Cloven Heart Farm Sanctuary. I know the last couple of years have been very challenging for everyone.
Cloven Heart needs your kindness and generosity now more than ever to raise $20,000 to help the animals.
This is the moment for a hero like you to step forward and give. You will make all the difference. It's a challenging and scary time for us at Cloven Heart, and vet care is expensive. But this is why we are here, for the animals! And it's why I'm coming to you.
Would you make your most generous gift today? Will you help Cloven Heart meet the veterinary care needs of all the animals that call this place home?
Your gift of $100 will provide hoof trimming for one horse. Cloven Heart is the home to eight equine who need to get their hooves trimmed at least 6 times a year. Our mama horse, Stevie recently recovered from laminitis this year. She could hardly walk, was in tremendous pain, and had to be on stall rest for several months.
X-rays, medication, change in diet, and special hoof trimming healed Stevie. Trimming horse hooves is necessary to catch problems early before they become serious. Stevie is now walking, running and living happily again, back with her horse family.
Without your help, I am worried that the animals won’t receive the basic health care they need. Yearly vaccinations and exams are due for the horse family right now and we don't have the funds. Cloven Heart is in a very real crisis and $20,000 will ensure all the animals receive the care they need.
Your gift of $250 will provide: 1. yearly exams and vaccinations for one horse, or one rescued dog or 2. one round of dewormer for all the horses, goats, sheep, pigs, and birds, or 3. one years supply of heart worm/flea/tick preventative for one dog (for which 18 currently live at Cloven Heart) or 4. a hoof trim for one cow, or 5. a dental cleaning for one dog or one horse.
Cloven Heart relies on donations from kind friends like you. Thank you for understanding our mission to help all animals. Animal cruelty is a very serious problem. Rescuing animals is the easy part. It's the lifelong care, safety, and rebuilding trust where the hard work comes in.
Cloven Heart Farm Sanctuary works hard to heal the animals we have rescued and to provide a safe home. Animals need yearly veterinary care and that's why we need your help today, more than ever.
You may recall the story of Charlie, our bull rescued in December 2018. Because of his age and size, we were unable to find a veterinarian who would neuter him without risking his life. I didn’t want Charlie to die. So many of you also love Charlie, and I definitely didn’t want to break your hearts.
Cloven Heart finally found a procedure and a veterinarian who could help Charlie. I reached out to you to help cover his medical bill for the procedure and because of your help, we could help Charlie. Without your help, Charlie wouldn’t be alive, healthy, and happy today. He is back with Hope and Faith, no longer separated from his family. Thank you so much for helping Charlie.
Your gift of $500 will provide emergency care for one animal at Cloven Heart Farm Sanctuary. Do you recall the two dogs that were recently abandoned and dumped on a dark country road? They found their way to Cloven Heart around midnight. We tried to help them, but they ran away. The very next morning they were back and we were able to gain their trust.
The little black dog had several injuries: scrapes and cuts, bruising on his thighs and belly, a busted bottom jaw, and two broken toes. All his injuries indicated he was dropped from a moving vehicle. Can you believe that there are people this cruel? They didn’t care if this dog lived or died, as long as he was no longer their problem?
He needed emergency vet care and we reached out to you to help cover the emergency vet care and treatment. This little dog needed our help and we needed your help to help him. You came through. Today, this little black dog has recovered from most of his physical trauma and is starting to heal from his emotional trauma.
Will you say YES to saving the life of any one of these rescued animals that call Cloven Heart home? Would you make your most generous gift today?
Cloven Heart Farm Sanctuary's goal is to raise $20,000 by November 15. We can schedule the final yearly exams and vaccinations, hoof care and dental care. $20,000 will also provide a reserve for any unexpected emergency care needed. $20,000 means I can say yes to the treatment needed to save the life of one of the Cloven Heart animal residents/kiddos. Your generous gift will be helping to save a life.
If a donation right now is beyond your means, I understand. Thank you for all you have done to support us, this far. But know this, even a small donation, of any amount affordable to you will make a difference for the animals.
I know many of you have expressed that “if you had a million dollars, you’d give it to Cloven Heart.” I am thankful that you have such a generous heart. You don’t have to have a million or even a hundred dollars to help Cloven Heart today. Any amount you can afford will be very helpful. It takes a special kind of hero to cope with personal hardship and still be able to help others at the same time.
This is a crisis we can’t get through without you. Your kind gift keeps our critical work going strong. We are all in this together, and your kindness and generosity now, will have a long-lasting impact. Thank you!
Stay healthy, be careful, and be kind to all kinds. We will get through this together!
